    Nếu có kết nối internet thì dễ cài, còn không có kết nối phải cài thủ công rất phức tạp. Sau đây là hướng dẫn cho trường hợp có kết nối internet.

    Cài các gói cần thiết: flex, bison, libreadline-dev, texinfo, gettext, perl

    sudo apt-get install flex bison libreadline-dev texinfo gettext perl

    Tải tập tin eukleides-1.5.4.tar.bz2 về lưu ở thư mục nào đó.

    Dùng Terminal, cd đên thư mục chứa tập tin vừa tải về

    tar -xvf eukleides-1.5.4.tar.bz2
cd eukleides-1.5.4
make
sudo make install

    Soạn thử một tin lưu thành vidu.euk có nội dung:

    O = point(2, 2)
C = circle(O, 2)
A = point(6.5, 2)

c = circle(O.A)
I.J = intersection(C, c)

draw
  line(A, I) gray
  line(A, J) gray
  C ; c dashed, gray
  O plus ; A
end

    Biên dịch

    eukleides vidu.euk

    Cài đặt bị lỗi ở dòng lệnh cuối cùng "sudo make install".Kết quả cho như sau:

    Installing eukleides
Installing euktopst
Installing scripts
Installing TeX files
make: *** [install_tex] Error 127

    Mong Tấn Phú khắc phục.

      Lỗi này không quan trọng lắm, tiếp tục như sau:

      Chép hai tập tin eukleides.sty và eukleides.tex vào hệ thống tex (trường hợp dùng texlive2009 cài từ tập tin iso, trường hợp khác đường dẫn có thể khác)

      sudo cp ./tex/eukleides.* /usr/local/texlive/2009/texmf-dist/tex/latex/

      Cập nhật lại hệ thống tex

      texhash

      Vậy là xong!

        Tấn Phú chỉ cách biên dịch ra file pdf và dvi luôn nha!

        Biên dịch tập tin eukleides sang eps:

        euktoeps vidu.euk

        Chuyển eps sang pdf:
        epstopdf vidu.eps

        Nếu biên dịch tài liệu bằng pdflatex thì chèn tập tin vidu.pdf vào tài liệu chính của mình bằng \includegraphic, còn biên dịch sang dvi thì chèn tập tin eps.
